UPLAND (CBSLA.com) — A minor quake has struck the Inland Empire.
The U.S. Geological Service says the quake struck about 9:03 a.m. Sunday. It had a preliminary magnitude of 3.0, which was soon upgraded to 3.1.
The quake was reported about four miles north of Upland and six miles northwest of Rancho Cucamonga, according to the USGS website.
No further information was immediately available.
