MALIBU (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say a female bicyclist in Malibu was killed Saturday after she collided with a MTA bus.

Deputies were called to the 25000 block of Pacific Coast Highway just after 1:50 p.m.

The unidentified bike rider was declared dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire department personnel.

The accident is being investigated by the Malibu/Lost Hills Station Traffic division.

Pacific Coast Highway — eastbound  — between Puerco Canyon Road and John Tyler Drive have been temporarily closed.
