PERRIS (CBSLA.com) — A tow truck driver was killed Friday when the sport utility vehicle he was trying to secure atop his flatbed rolled over and crushed him.
The accident at Lake Perris Fairgrounds in the 18700 block of Lake Perris Drive occurred about 12:20 a.m., coroner’s officials said.
The victim was identified by Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner’s office as 35-year-old Ryan Everly of Apple Valley.
County firefighters pronounced Everly, who they found pinned underneath the vehicle, dead at the scene.
