STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Join in the fight against breast cancer and get fit at the same time!
The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Orange County event will be held on Sunday, Oct. 7.
Breast cancer survivor Marie Zoutomou and American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Pacesetter Kathy Vos stopped by KCAL9 Monday to talk about the third annual fundraiser.
By participating in this inspiring event, you not only honor and celebrate those impacted by breast cancer, but every step you take and every dollar raised helps save lives. When more walkers raise money to fight breast cancer, there will be more survivors able to celebrate more birthdays.
Registration for the event starts at 7 a.m. The walk begins at 8 a.m. at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts, 600 Town Center Drive, in Costa Mesa.
There is no registration fee and everyone is welcome. Each step we take is personal and each donation helps save lives. To sign-up for a team, visit makingstrideswalk.org/orangecounty or call (877)740-9255.
