LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Thousands of Southern California residents without health care will descend upon the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena for a free four-day medical clinic.
The clinic, sponsored by Care Harbor, begins Thursday and will last through Sunday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Exposition Park.
People started lining up Monday morning in order to receive wristbands for the clinic that will offer free dental, medical, and vision care, as well as immunizations, to approximately 5,000 people.
All medical professionals have volunteered their time for the clinic.
There are approximately 2.2. million Los Angeles residents without health insurance, according to Care Harbor.
