Actor/Model Accused Of Being Unruly On OC-Bound Flight

SANTA ANA  (CBS/AP) — Passengers say they had to tackle a passenger who was allegedly behaving aggressively and grabbing women during a flight from Chicago to Orange County's John Wayne Airport.

The Orange County Register reports  26-year-old passenger Arash Durrani -- a model and an actor AKA Ash Durrani, according to his Facebook profile -- was taken into custody Tuesday night after passengers restrained him with a belt to stop him from scaring passengers on United Flight 473.

FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller says Durrani will be charged with a federal offense for interference with a flight crew.

Passenger David Truong told the newspaper about 45 minutes into the flight Durrani began pacing around the plane, inappropriately grabbing women and harassing people.

Truong says when the man started scaring children on the plane, he and three other passengers physically restrained him.

Stacey Butler, reporting for CBS2 and KCAL9, talked to two passengers who shot the ordeal on their cell phones.

They told Butler Durrani had to be restrained for three hours.

On their cell phone video, Durrani could be heard screaming, "Help me, you're hurting me."
