Girl, 17, Reportedly Raped After Accepting Ride From Older Man
PALMDALE (CBSLA.com) A 17-year-old girl was reportedly raped Monday when she accepted a ride from an older man.
The girl accepted a ride from the suspect in the morning, Deputy John Cereoli said.
The man, described as heavy set and approximately 30 years old, allegedly drove the victim to a secluded area and stopped the car.
The suspect asked the girl, "Do you want to make some money?" He then proceeded to rape her and left her there, Cereoli said.
Deputies were called to Sierra Highway and Barrel Springs Road at about 10:30 a.m. They found the girl and took her to a hospital.
Cereoli said the suspect was driving a blue four-door car with only paper plates and the word "Carmax."
