Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Sept. 3)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — The weather will be even warmer Monday.

The high pressure ridge that has been the big player for the latter half of the summer...will nudge a little closer to the west Monday.

That's going to keep us warm inland.  It is also making things difficult for firefighters at the Williams Fire.

We are expecting low humidity's in the San Gabriel and Antelope Valley.

Above 10,000' however we will see a surge of moisture, that's going to come in the form of some clouds, but there just isn't enough to squeeze out a shower or a thunderstorm Monday morning.

The moisture surge will continue through Wednesday, so we will have to monitor the threat of showers and thunderstorms.

Temperatures will stay on the warm side through the rest of the week.

There is no real relief headed our way until next week, and even then it looks like we will only cool down to the mid to upper 80s downtown.

Coast-upper 70s

Basin-upper 80s

Valleys-upper 90s

Deserts-upper 90s

Mountains-mid to upper 70s
