LAGUNA HILLS (CBS) —  The Coroner's Office Sunday identified the 24-year-old woman allegedly stabbed to death by her boyfriend inside a Laguna Hills home.

She was Alexandra Joyce Tang, a resident of Santa Barbara, said Supervising Deputy Coroner Daniel Aikin.

A "person of interest" in Tang's death, identified as her boyfriend, 25-year-old Derek Pinski, was taken into custody about 8:30 p.m. Saturday, in Mesa, Ariz. said Orange County Sheriff's Capt. Steve Doan. Pinski is a  Laguna Hills resident.

"Sheriff's homicide investigators are in Arizona conducting interviews and collecting evidence to yesterday's crime," said Gail Krause of the Orange County Sheriff's Department. "Pinski will be extradited back to Orange County, where he will eventually be charged for the murder of Alexandra Tang,"

Sheriff's deputies responded to an "unknown trouble" call around 11:15 a.m. Saturday in the 22000 block of Caminito Tasquillo, Doan said.

Upon their arrival, deputies and Orange County Fire Authority personnel saw the homeowner doing CPR on Tang, Doan said.

"The victim was stabbed an unknown amount of times and died at the scene," he said.
