Burbank Auto Repair Shop Offers $1,000 Reward For Dr. Phil's Missing Chevy

BURBANK (CBSLA.com) — A Burbank auto repair shop is asking for the public's help in finding a missing 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible that belongs to Dr. Phil McGraw.

The car was stolen from RODZ on Sunday evening after the talk show host had the car, which is worth nearly $100,000, towed to the repair shop at 2800 N. San Fernando Road, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Lt. Dominic Valencia said.

That night, someone broke into RODZ and stole the black Chevrolet with red interior, Valencia said.

RODZ is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the car thief, as well as the safe return of the vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Lt. Dominic Valencia at (800)299-8727.
