Justin Lopez of Stonefire Grill stopped by KCAL9 Wednesday to talk about the health benefits of quinoa and showed viewers an easy recipe.
Stonefire Grill just introduced three new quinoa salads and even have started to offer it as a substitute for protein.
Recipe for Healthy Hybrid:
3 cups cooked quinoa
½ cup Garbanzo Beans
½ cup Kalamata olives
½ cup Green Bell Peppers
½ cup Red Onion
½ cup Cucumber
½ cup Tomatoe
½ cup Artichoke Hearts
-After Quinoa is cooked, add list of ingredients and mix!
-Toss with Dijon Mustard Vinaigrette and top with Feta cheese
