Koreatown Shooting Leaves 1 Dead, 2 Wounded

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — One person was killed and two others were wounded in a shooting outside an apartment complex in Koreatown.

Police responded to a shooting call in the 2700 block of San Marino Avenue around 4 a.m. Sunday.

Upon arrival, they say they found two men and a woman suffering of gunshot wounds.

All three were taken to area hospitals where one of the men was pronounced dead. The two other victims were reported to be in stable condition.

The motive for the shooting appeared to be gang-related. Police said in a statement that the suspects were described as two Hispanic men.
