1 Pedestrian Dead, 1 Injured In Banning Accident
BANNING (CBS) — One pedestrian was killed and another injured when a vehicle slammed into two people crossing a Banning street.
The incident was reported at 8:56 p.m., on West Wilson Street at Kingswell Avenue, said Riverside Fire Department spokeswoman Melody Hendrickson.
"The first arriving engine company reported one victim who was pronounced dead at the scene," Hendrickson said. A second victim was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
Banning police were investigating and not available for comment.
