ROWLAND HEIGHTS (CBSLA.com) — Police Friday chased a suspect who was possibly suicidal from Rowland Heights to Diamond Bar.

The brief chase came to an end with the suspect being taken into custody without incident.

Police described the man as “disturbed.”

After questioning the man, officials say he ran back to his car saying he wanted to die. Authorities said he wanted the police to try to kill him.

The man, described as Asian, sped off.

The suspect was originally stopped for a routine traffic stop.
