WEST HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — A water main break in West Hollywood Thursday morning left several businesses high and dry.
As of 4 p.m., DWP officials said the water main break has been capped and that water was restored to “most” businesses and residences.
Gil Leyvas, reporting for Sky9, said, “It’s still a big mess out here.”
The break, occurring at Melrose and Robertson Boulevard in West Hollywood, flooded streets.
Leyvas reported the water originated from the Upper Stone Canyon reservoir.
Two restaurants, namely Cecconi’s and Craig’s, both closed for the day due to a lack of water.
Tortilla Republic told KCAL9 that they also didn’t have water but were considering re-opening when the water came back on.
