ENCINO (CBSLA.com) — A pool service truck collided with another vehicle Tuesday morning spilling a small amount of chemicals and injuring two people.
The crash was reported around 9:30 a.m. in the 16600 block of Ventura Boulevard, according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
One person was treated for exposure to fumes from the spill and the possible mingling of a gallon of muriatic acid and a gallon of chlorine. The other person was injured when the vehicles crashed, according to Humphrey.
A section of Ventura Boulevard was closed while officials investigated the accident.
