The temblor hit one mile northeast of Yorba Linda at 11:23 p.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

There were no reports of injuries or property damage, the Yorba Linda Fire Department reported.

“There have been a number of quakes in the past, and there was a magnitude-5.4 that occurred in this particular area back in 2008,” said Baldwin.
