ARTESIA (CBS) — A 60-year-old man was shot and killed early Thursday in Artesia.

Serafin Garcia of Artesia was shot in the 11900 block of Arkansas Street around 1:50 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and the coroner’s office.

Garcia was pronounced dead at the scene.

Sheriff’s officials were unable to confirm a motive for the shooting.
