STUDIO CITY (CBS) — The Los Angeles Unified School District is going viral!

Former CBS2/KCAL9 reporter Stephanie Abrams stopped by KCAL9 Tuesday to discuss the LAUSD’s new social media program.

Abrams, the district’s social media director, is launching Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube accounts to broaden the LAUSD’s outreach within the community.

As the first district in the country to have a social media director and a collaborative social media outreach effort, the LAUSD is also advising New York and several other school districts.
