Reports: Trojans Meet With Penn State Running Back
LOS ANGELES (CBS) – The defection of Penn State players is officially underway as safety Tim Buckley is leaving Happy Valley for his hometown N.C. State.
Running back Silas Redd could be next.
According to numerous reports, the Nittany Lions' most prolific offensive weapon had a productive meeting with USC coach Lane Kiffin, QB Matt Barkley and WR Robert Woods over the weekend at the USC campus.
ESPN is reporting Redd will meet with his family and then Penn State coach Bill O'Brien before making a decision.
If Redd does transfer, he would give the Trojans a huge boost at the running back position.
In order to take on Redd, the Trojans would have to free up a scholarship.
