Psychotherapist John Tsilimparis Talks 'Empty Nest Syndrome'

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — As fall approaches, many students are getting ready to go off to college, and some parents will be forced to deal with "Empty Nest Syndrome."

Writer and psychotherapist John Tsilimparis stopped by KCAL9 Monday to discuss ways parents can deal with the syndrome.

Tsilimparis has worked with many patients suffering from anxiety disorders, particularly OCD, depression, and addiction.

He recently published his latest memoir, "Mortal Bonds", which is about personal struggle and transformation.
