LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A body was found Monday in downtown Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The body was discovered shortly after 11 a.m. on Spring Street between 6th and 7th streets, according to Officer Bruce Borihanh of LAPD Media Relations.
The person, who may have jumped from a building, was believed to be a transient.
The surrounding area was closed off while authorities investigate.
