LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The California Highway Patrol says one person was arrested following a fiery collision on the Ventura (134) Freeway near Griffith Park.
The collision involving a sedan and a pickup truck occurred about 1:10 a.m. Saturday west of Victory Boulevard and temporarily closed the westbound lanes of the freeway, officials said.
The reason for the arrest was not immediately disclosed.
Officials said one of the vehicles burst into flames upon impact and one of the drivers reportedly complained of pain.
No further information was available.
