CANYON COUNTRY (CBS) — Authorities need the public’s help to find a man they say shot someone on July 4 in Canyon Country.

Brandon Carrera, 24, is believed to have shot an acquaintance in the area of Jake’s Way and Sierra Highway in Canyon Country Wednesday. Authorities say Carrera frequents the Canyon Country area.

Carrera is described as a 6-foot-2, 170-pound black man with brown hair and green eyes.

Authorities say he should be considered armed and dangerous and warned that members of the public should not approach or attempt to apprehend him.
