ET's Mark Steines Unveils Photography Collection At L.A. Live

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — After spending most of his career in front of the camera, "Entertainment Tonight" co-anchor Mark Steines is pursuing his passion from behind the lens.

Steines unveiled his photography collection on Friday evening at the Ritz-Carlton residences at L.A. Live.

"I was afraid to let it out to be honest with you because when you show your work it just gets judged," said Steines who has loved photography since high school.

The 48-year-old Emmy-Award winning journalist captured the images at exotic locations all over the world while on assignment during his 17-year career.

He is leaving "ET" in July.

"I'd find myself in Dubai or I'd find myself in Geneva or Rome or London in these amazing locales and I'm like, 'wow, I know I'm supposed to be interviewing Brad Pitt right now but look at that tree,'" he said.

The prints will be on display for the next three months by appointment only.

Some are expected to be auctioned off with proceeds going to the Lighthouse Medical Missions to help those in Sierra Leone.
