Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (June 26)

STUDIO CITY (CBS) —  Tuesday will look a lot like Monday. However starting Wednesday, the ridge of high pressure parked over Texas is going to expand to the west. That will bring us sunny and warm weather, especially to our inland cities.

You can expect that warming trend to continue through the end of the week. Another trough moves through the area over the weekend. That will help to cool things down a little bit. If you live at the beach or in the immediate coastal plain, your weather for the rest of the week is going to be predicated by the marine layer. While inland areas should be warm, the temperatures will be moderated at the coast by the low clouds. Depending on how dense that marine layer gets, we could see temperatures hovering near average levels downtown, while some beach cities get socked in by clouds all day long. We will have to wait and see.

Beaches -low 70s
Basin - upper 70s to low 80s
Valleys - upper 80s to low 90s
Deserts - upper 80s to low 90s
Mountains -low to mid 70s
