Woman Wanted On Suspicion Of Abducting Her 2 Sons

CARSON (CBS) — Authorities on Sunday were searching for a 30-year-old mother of two suspected in the children's abduction last week.

Sheriff's deputies said in an alert that Rachel Ann Guerrero made off with her sons, ages 6 and 21 months old, on June 21, while having lunch with their grandmother.

Friday, authorities say she agreed to turn the boys over to their grandfather, who has full custody, but never showed up.

Guerrero, described as a Hispanic female weighing 110 pounds, is 5'5" with black hair and brown eyes.

Guerrero is bi-polar, schizophrenic and may have a substance abuse problem, authorities said.
