SANTA ANA (CBS) — An Alaska Airlines flight with a blown tire landed safely at John Wayne Airport Thursday afternoon.
Flight 508 was coming in from Seattle when pilots reported that they blew a rear tire on the 737 Boeing.
Pilots managed to land the plane safely at 2:30 p.m. with some signs of smoke but not flames.
None of the 160 passengers or the crew was injured.
