LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Authorities on Saturday were investigating the circumstances surrounding a shooting that claimed the life of one man and left a second wounded in unincorporated Westmont.
The incident in the 1000 block of West 109th Place was reported at 11:33 p.m. Friday, sheriff’s Deputy Peter Gomez said.
One man was pronounced dead at the scene while a second was transported to an area hospital where he was reportedly listed to be in stable condition.
No arrests have been announced.
