STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Authorities said the body of a man believed to be in his 30s was found tied to a tree Friday near the campus of a private high school in Studio City.
The gruesome discovery was reportedly made about 8:15 a.m. Friday near Harvard-Westlake School in the 3700 block of Coldwater Canyon Boulevard.
Mario Sainz, an investigator with the Los Angeles County coroner’s office, said in a department statement that the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of death was not immediately known. An investigation was under way.
No other information was immediately available.
