Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (June 15)

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — We've got some low clouds to wake us up this morning. The marine layer has again spread as far as the Santa Clarita Valley.

Expect temperatures to be similar to Thursday, but maybe a degree or two warmer inland.

An upper-level low will develop out of the trough that is located along the West Coast. That low is going to drop to the southwest and cut off from the jet stream. As it moves south, we will get a Northeast flow, which will clear out most of the marine layer (beaches and portions of the coastal plain will still deal with the marine layer in the AM over the weekend).

Most inland areas will clear out and warm up for the weekend with this off-shore flow. Then, after a slight cool down on Monday and Tuesday, it looks like high pressure building into the area could give us a very warm middle of the week. Stay tuned for temperatures near 100 degrees in our valleys.

Beaches - upper 60s
Basin - low 70s
Valleys - mid 80s
Deserts - low 90s
Mountains -low 70s
