GARDENA (CBS) — Authorities say five people were transported to a hospital after a school bus collided with a vehicle in Gardena Thursday afternoon.

Several ambulances responded to the crash site, located at 157th and Main streets, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

The crash occurred at 3:14 p.m.m. fire officials reported.

Five riders were taken to the hospital with minor injuries and more were being evaluated by paramedics, L.A. County Fire said.

No further details have been made available.
