STUDIO CITY (CBS) — The winds were howling last night in the Santa Clarita Valley, High Desert, and even the Malibu Hills.
The off-shore gradient is still in place. We can expect a decent warm up today. In some spots we’ll see a 10-degree bump.
Look for mostly sunny skies along with the dry weather. Thursday, the winds are gone, but the warm weather is still in place. It will be a fantastic day with just some minor cooling, but it will still be well above average.
By Friday, the on-shore flow returns, and so does the marine layer. Look for cooling into the weekend. Next week, temperatures will hover at or slightly above average.
Beaches – upper 70s
Basin – mid 80s
Valleys – upper 80s to low 90s
Deserts – mid 80s
Mountains – low 70s
