LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Authorities are searching for a white sport utility vehicle belonging to an officer with the Los Angeles Police Department.

The officer says the Chevy Tahoe was parked in front of her home in Simi Valley when it was taken.

The SUV is the officer’s off-duty vehicle and had her service weapon inside.

It has a California license of 5PIA388, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of the vehicle is asked to contact the LAPD.
