Pat Boone Visits KCAL9 To Discuss New Album
STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Pat Boone stopped by the KCAL9 studios Friday to talk about his new album, Pat Boone Sings a Tribute to The Ink Spots, Featuring Take 6.
This year, the entertainment legend will celebrate over 50 years in music; having sold nearly 50 million records, with 38 Top 40 radio hits.
He has multiple Gold and Platinum RIAA records and was named by Billboard as the top #10 artist for Most Top Chart Hits from 1955-1996.
Boone will be saluting famed mid-century vocal group the Ink Spots.
He runs his own record company, The Gold Label, designed for legendary artists of a certain age and certifiable talent (all with million-selling gold records to their credit).
