ANAHEIM (AP) — A 50-year-old Fullerton man is dead after being hit by a Metrolink train.

Anaheim Police Department Sgt. Hank Fantes says the man was struck as he walked along the tracks in Anaheim late Thursday night.

The train was en route from Fullerton to Oceanside with one passenger aboard.

Fantes says investigators don’t know what the man was doing on the tracks.

The 800 block of Sycamore Street was closed in both directions as police investigated.
