CAMARILLO (CBS) — Authorities Monday were investigating the death of a newborn baby found in a strawberry field at Nyeland Acres.

The body, which was discovered by a worker in the 3300 block of Central Avenue around 9:30 a.m., was later taken away by the Ventura County Coroner’s Office.

No arrests have been made.

The cause of the baby’s death wasn’t immediately released.
