After Treasurer Stole Money From Kids, Little League Team Needs Donations

REDLANDS (CBS) — The former treasurer for a Redlands little league team admits to stealing money from the players.

She vowed to return the money — about $5,000. But officials say she is no where to be found.

The Redland East Valley Little League is asking for help to recover from the theft.

Fundraising efforts are also hampered by the fact that the team’s snack bar and restrooms have also been condemned because of lack of maintenance.

So they’re asking the public’s help to get the team back on the field.
