Former Harvard-Westlake Tackle Jonathan Martin Heading To Dolphins

DAVIE, Fla. (AP) — The Miami Dolphins have taken Stanford offensive tackle Jonathan Martin in the second round of the NFL draft.

USC's Nick Perry

USC's Matt Kalil

The 6-foot-5, 312-pound Martin was projected as a potential first-round pick but lasted until the 42nd overall selection Friday night.

Martin played left tackle at Stanford, where he was a three-year starter and protected Andrew Luck's blind side before deciding to turn pro after his junior year. The Dolphins are hoping he can quickly win a starting job at right tackle to complement Pro Bowl left tackle Jake Long.
