LOS ANGELES (CBS) — AEG has released new artist renderings of Farmers Field, the state-of-the-art NFL stadium and convention center the company has proposed building in the middle of downtown Los Angeles.
The renderings, which were released to fans on Facebook, include renderings of a brand new exhibition hall, nighttime shots of the proposed complex and an image of what tailgating without cars might look like on Chick Hearn Plaza.

AEG credited Populous, Arnold Imaging, Melendrez, Gensler, and V Studios for the new renderings.
An NFL team has not yet committed to moving to Los Angeles, but billionaire developer Phillip Anschutz has said he’s willing to buy an NFL team to bring football back to the city.
The complex, which would cost an estimated $1.5 billion, would be completed by 2016, by AEG’s plans.
