LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Special Needs Network founder Areva Martin visited KCAL9 in honor of Autism Awareness month to discuss an upcoming conference for special needs children.
The two-day Special Needs Network’s 6th Annual Tools for Transformation Conference and Legislative Breakfast provides families with resources, support and education on mental health, including autism, learning disabilities and ADHD.
Participants have the opportunity to engage in dialogue with L.A.’s top lawmakers and advocates.
The event will be held April 13-14 and is free to the public.
