2 Dead, 1 Injured In Santa Barbara Murder-Suicide
SANTA BARBARA (AP) — Investigators say a man and a woman are dead in what appears to be a murder-suicide in a Santa Barbara area apartment building.
A third woman was also stabbed and she's hospitalized with non-life-threatening wounds.
Sheriff's Lt. Steve Johnson says deputies responding to a woman screaming call at about 2:30 a.m. Friday discovered the bodies of a man and woman just outside an apartment door in an unincorporated area west of Santa Barbara.
The wounded woman who made the 911 call was found inside the apartment. She said the male victim had stabbed all three people.
Johnson says in a statement that the attack was apparently due to an unspecified domestic situation and the case is being handled as a murder-suicide.
Names are being withheld until relatives are contacted.
