Local Students To Compete In 'Cooking Up Change 2012'
STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Culinary students from Santa Ana Valley High School visited KCAL9 Tuesday to talk about 'Cooking Up Change 2012'.
The students shared their award-winning recipes, which they will recreate for a national contest in Washington, D.C., in May.
They have created a lemon and spinach chicken dish, a Tuscan bean salad, and cinnamon poached pears for the competition, which requires students to invent healthy menu choices for their schools.
