Man Fatally Shot In Hawthorne; Probe Under Way
HAWTHORNE (CBS) — Authorities Sunday were investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man in Hawthorne.
The incident in the 4600 block of West Imperial Highway occurred about 2:45 a.m., said Deputy Tony Moore of the Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Los Angeles County sheriff's homicide detectives were handling the investigation.
