MISSION HILLS (CBS) — Police are investigating the murder of man whose body was found Friday morning inside a medical facility.

Authorities received a call at 6:30 a.m. about a body found at the Facey Medical Group, 11211 Sepulveda Boulevard, in Mission Hills.

The unidentified man — a building janitor — apparently suffered a puncture wound in his upper body, police said. His name was not released.

The body was found by a building security guard.

Late Friday, police named a suspect in the murder.

Officials believe the killer is Jesus Maldonado and they believe he may have already fled the country.

A man, who said he was the victim’s cousin, identified the dead man as Florentino Reyes, 41, a father of two.

Sources told KCAL9′s Suraya Fadel that the two men worked together. The sources also told Fadel that they believed Maldonado killed Reyes over the affections of a woman. Maldonado and Reyes were co-workers.
