LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Funeral arrangements were underway Monday for a Southland comedic actor best known for his dead-on impersonation of former President George W. Bush.
Steve Bridges, 48, was found dead at his home in Los Angeles on Saturday after a recent trip performing in China, according to the Los Angeles Times.
An autopsy is scheduled, but the coroner’s office does not suspect any foul play.
Bridges appeared alongside Bush at the annual White House Correspondents’ Association dinner in 2006 and made frequent appearances on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno”.
Bridges is survived by his parents, two brothers and a sister.
