Road Struggles Continue As Lakers Crushed In Phoenix
PHOENIX (CBS) --If the Lakers were going to get better on the road, Phoenix looked like the ideal destination.
But the Suns had other ideas, dropping the Lakers 102-90 on Sunday night, snapping a three-game home losing streak to the Lakers.
Los Angeles is now 5-11 on the road.
Phoenix came out firing on all cylinders, scoring 35 points in the first quarter and took a 23-point lead into halftime.
"I don't know if there is anyone out there that if there was 365 days in a year they would be at the same level in their job, no matter what you do and not come down or slip-up, so that's what happened." Mike Brown said. " We didn't defend like we are capable of and we paid the piper tonight. "
Jared Dudley led the Suns with 25 points, while Kobe Bryant led the Lakers with 32 points.
The Lakers head home on Monday night to face the Portland Trailblazers.
