Road Struggles Continue As Lakers Crushed In Phoenix

PHOENIX (CBS) —If the Lakers were going to get better on the road, Phoenix looked like the ideal destination.

But the Suns had other ideas, dropping the Lakers  102-90 on Sunday night, snapping a three-game home losing streak to the Lakers.

Los Angeles is now 5-11 on the road.

Phoenix came out firing on all cylinders, scoring 35 points in the first quarter and took a 23-point lead into halftime.

“I don’t know if there is anyone out there that if there was 365 days in a year they would be at the same level in their job, no matter what you do and not come down or slip-up, so that’s what happened.”¬† Mike Brown said. ” We didn’t defend like we are capable of and we paid the piper tonight. ”

Jared Dudley led the Suns with 25 points, while Kobe Bryant led the Lakers with 32 points.

The Lakers head home on Monday night to face the Portland Trailblazers.
