LA Man Accused Of Burglarizing Lake Elsinore Home

LAKE ELSINORE (CBS) — A man suspected of burglarizing a home in an unincorporated area of Lake Elsinore was behind bars.

The suspect, identified by authorities as 23-year-old Al Lorenzo Jones, was booked into the Southwest Detention Center on suspicion of burglary.

According to sheriff's Sgt. John Carlberg, the homeowner returned from an evening out and found a man rummaging through property at a home in the 30500 block of Via Lakistas about 8:45 p.m. Friday.

The owner, along with his brother and a neighbor, detained the burglar and notified authorities, Carlberg said.

Deputies arrived moments later and made the arrest.

Jones was being held in lieu of $25,000 bail, jail records showed.
