Long Beach Will Allow 18 Medical Marijuana Collectives To Remain Open

LONG BEACH (CBS) — The Long Beach City Council voted Tuesday to allow the sale of medical marijuana to continue at non-profit collectives.

The city has been struggling to regulate the legal sale of medicinal marijuana, but the council approved a compromise.

Eighteen marijuana collectives will remain open, but all other pot shops in Long Beach will be shut down.

Are the shops that will be allowed to remaim open, the ones that have been funneling money to city officials, by way of their common attorney? I understand they were funneling $8000 a week ‘Each’ so they would not be bothered by the city.
