LOS ANGELES (CBS/AP) — Publishing a book before your senior year at UCLA is quite an accomplishment, but what would you call it if the writer is just 14 years old?
Moshe Kai Cavalin, who enrolled in college at age 8 and earn the first of his two Associates of Arts degrees from East Los Angeles Community College at age 9, is getting ready to graduate from UCLA with a mathematics degree this year.
The English edition of his first book, “We Can Do,” has also been published and is now available on Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com.
The 100-page guideline explains how other young people can accomplish what Cavalin did through such simple acts as keeping themselves focused and approaching everything with total commitment.
Cavalin, whose mother is Chinese, originally wrote the book in Mandarin. After it sold well in Asia, he translated it into English.
The book is available for sale on Amazon.
